BHEL – Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has bagged a Rs 220 crore worth contract for the 2×800 MW Darlipali Supercritical Thermal Power Project (STPP) in Odisha. The contract involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection and commissioning of electrostatic precipitators of the project.
NTPC has placed this order for its STPP-II in Sundargarh district of Odisha, where BHEL is already completing the order for the steam generator SG) package with supercritical parameters for the same project.
BHEL’s Ranipet plant will manufacture the ESP, Jhansi plant will be responsible to supply High Voltage Rectifier Transformers. BHEL’s Power Sector – Southern Region will erect and commission the ESPs.
