In the recent announcement by Suzuki Motors Corporation (Japan’s leading auto makers), company stated that the construction of its Rs. 4000 Crore worth new manufacturing plant in Gujarat will start on 28th of January. The plant is about 138 Km from Ahmedabad at Hansalpur village and expected to be functional by 2017.
The plant will initially will roll out around 1.5 lac units annually. This will now be wholly owned entity of Suzuki Motors Corporation.
