Saudi Electricity Company has awarded a $126 million worth contract for laying power transmission lines to South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company (Hyundai E&C).
The contract is about installing 249 km of a 380-kV transmission line within the Saudi Arabia’s capital city of Riyadh. The project is expected to complete within two years.
Hyundai E&C is currently working on about 13 projects in Saudi Arabia, worth about $1.4 billion.
