Maharashtra CM, Devendra fadnavis to put – Mumbai infra projects on fast track

Promises e-platform for various clearances.

Maharashtra government is working very positively to fast track development of infrastructure in Mumbai and (MMR) Region worth close to Rs. 55000 cr.

Fadnavis, New CM of the state of Maharashtra has promised to bring better co-ordination among multiple agencies for faster clearances of infrastructure projects and also assured single e-platform to avoid delays and cost escalation due to these delays.

Rs 11,000-crore Mumbai Trans Harbor Link (Sewree to Nhava) JICA has agreed 80% funding to this project, Rs 11,000-crore the Charkop-Bandra-Mankhurd metro II, the Rs 23,000-crore Mumbai Metro III project which will connect Cuff Parade with Andheri via Worli and the airport (Rs 13,000 crore will be funded by JICA (the Japan International Cooperation Agency), Rs 5,000 crore sea link project, Rs 440 crore and Rs 915 crore water transport projects for the eastern & west coast respectively are some of the key projects on the anvil and would be cleared soon.
