The work of the Nanjundapuram road bridge across the railway line in Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu is expected to be completed by the end of the July 2014.
The project will be carried out by the Tamilnadu sate Highways Department at the cost of Rs 12.6 crore.
The scope of the work includes construction of a 693 meter, two-lane bridge which includes construction of 337.75 meter road on the Ramanathapuram side and 317.26 meter road on the Podanur side. All work related to the bridge has been completed, and the 150 meter road on one side and 90 meters on the other is yet to be done
