The process has been completed by the Public works department, Odisha of awarding the contract for constructing energy –saving building worth Rs 124 crore, in Bhubaneswar.
The process of tendering of the project has been completed but the name of the winner is not yet disclosed as the authorities are waiting for the approval of higher authorities. The project will be executed in three phases on 90,000 sq metres.
The work related to the Phase –I of the project include a massive tower of 30,000 sq mtr which will come up on area of unit –IV on eight acre at the cost of Rs 124 crore. The work of the phase –I project is likely to be completed in two years. The building will have features such as conference room, canteen, toilets and elevators with the special amenities to make the building earthquake resistant, having fire fighting apparatus along with lightning arrester .The parking area will be huge at the basement and level parking to put up the vehicles in large number.
