Salarpuria Sattva’s CELESTA- Meets Stringent Environment Standards for GRIHA Certification

Salarpuria Sattva Group is amongst the first few builders in the country to receive the Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment – GRIHA Pre-Certification from the Association for Development and Research of Sustainable Habitats (ADaRSH). They have received this certification for their residential project CELESTA, coming up on Old Madras Road, along the Krishnarajpuram Lake in Bangalore. This pre-certification enables the project to be fit for advanced environment standards on the basis of environment protection and feasibility.

The process of achieving this certification is stringent as a variety of criteria from soil standards to renewable energy has to be met. CELESTA has cleared 81% of the criteria needed to receive a 4 star rating from GRIHA. The Group intends to incorporate the remaining criteria and reach a 5 star rating by the time the project is completed in 24 months.

Speaking on this achievement Mr. Bijay Agarwal, Managing Director of Salarpuria Sattva Group said, “Salarpuria Sattva is committed to enhancing the quality of living by incorporating the highest standards through our building process. We take pride in having always maintained a clean and transparent conscience”.

ADaRSH is an independent platform for the interaction on scientific and administrative issues related to sustainable habitats in the Indian through GRIHA. It was founded by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi) and supported by MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India) along with experts in the field of sustainability of built environment from across the country.
