Canadian Solar Inc. will supply its modules to power a series of projects in Georgia, south east state of the US of 5.1 MW. SolAmerica Energy, LLC – Atlanta-based company would be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction. These projects are expected to be completed by December 2014.
All these projects will be owned by Citizens Energy Corporation of Boston, will use Canadian Solar CS6X-310-P photovoltaic (PV) modules, and the energy produced from the arrays will be sold to Georgia Power. SolAmerica Energy, LLC will be the EPC for all these projects.
1. Taylor County Industrial Park inButler, Georgia: 1.8 MW ground mount, 2. Cook County Farm inLenox, Georgia: 1.3 MW ground mount, 3. Terrell County Industrial Park in Dawson, Georgia: 1 MW ground mount, 4. Goolsby Farm in Terrell County, Georgia: 1 MW ground mount are some of the projects under construction.
