During 33rd Annual General Body Meeting, NALCO declared their plan to set up a wind power project in India, very soon.
The Navratna PSU is also planning to establish a solar power and 14 MW wind power unit. Feasibility study report is ready and this 14 MW wind power project to come up at its in mined out bauxite reserves at Damanjodi in Koraput.
The Odisha govt has provided land to the company to set up aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors unit in the Angul Aluminium Park.
The Nalco chief said the company is undertaking feasibility study to establish ground-mounted and roof-top solar power project at the NRTCentre in Bhubaneswar and smelter plant at Angul.
